Law school abroad is expensive for international students and while they cannot reduce their tuition fee automatically, they offer scholarships to offset the cost of tuition. In this blog post, I have curated a list of law school scholarships for international students both prospective and current law scholars can find scholarships here that may even cover the entire cost of their education.
Students who leave their home country to study in another country are referred to as international students, and the reasons why they do this are many. But the major reasons would be to seek greener pastures and explore opportunities that they normally would not have access to if they remained in their home country.
International students can be found in nearly every college or university in different parts of the continent pursuing academic degrees in law, medicine, journalism, engineering, etc. to bag a world-class degree. Some many advantages or benefits that come with studying abroad a bit of which I have listed above but there are more such as an opportunity to learn a new language and culture, create a network of friends from different parts of the world, and expand your horizon.
The No. 1 discouraging factor of being an international student would have to be the finances involved. They pay higher tuition fees compared to domestic students and they also have to show financial proof that they can cover the entire cost of their education to study in that university. If you wish to study abroad but cannot afford it I have good news for you.
Scholarships. Yes, that is the good news. There are hundreds of scholarships offered annually to students who wish to study abroad or are already studying abroad. The funds are provided by various organizations, charity foundations, colleges and universities, alumni and generous individuals, and governments. Some of the scholarships are specific like law school scholarships for disabled students while some are not like entrance scholarships which are basically for everyone applying to a university.
This article is about a specific kind of scholarship which is the law scholarships for international students. As you can see from the title, you cannot apply for the scholarship if you are not a law student or do not plan to be one. Well, that doesn’t mean you should stop reading this post because here at Scholarships to Study Abroad, there is a truckload of scholarship guides and resources and you can find one for yourself.
Without any further ado, let’s get into the main topic.
