1.     Volleyball Manitoba Scholarships & Fund

Volleyball Manitoba is the organization that governs the sport of volleyball in the province of Manitoba. As part of its mission to promote and facilitate the growth and excellence of volleyball in Manitoba, the organization provides annual scholarship funding to support the education of student-athletes who wish to play volleyball in a college in Canada.

Applicants must be residents of Manitoba and have participated in Volleyball competitions and intend to continue in college.

2.     Dino Women’s Volleyball Scholarship

The above-named scholarship is offered by the University of Calgary. Dino is the name of the varsity team. The Dino Women’s Volleyball Scholarship is an annual financial assistance of $1,400 offered to a student-athlete enrolled in a full-time degree program at the university and on the Dino Women’s Volleyball team.

The scholarship is open to students from all nationalities entering years 2, 3, and 4. Entering students must have a minimum GPA of 80% while returning students must have a minimum GPA of 65% to be eligible for the award.

3.     The University of Manitoba Athletic Awards

If you compete in volleyball, you can apply for admission into the University of Manitoba, show intent to join its volleyball team, and stand a chance to win an athletic scholarship that will cover the cost of your studies. You can claim, at least, $500 in scholarship but it does not exceed $4,500 as regulated by U Sport.
