Les Favell Cricket Foundation offers an annual scholarship to support young underprivileged cricketers in South Australia to help them achieve their dream of playing at the highest level.
The scholarship covers the education, coaching, and training of the recipients. It also gives them opportunities to compete within South Australia and beyond. To be a recipient of this scholarship, you must be under 18 years of age, prepared to represent the foundation, and potential to play First Grade Cricket.
2. ANU Cricket Club Scholarship
The Cricket Club of the Australian National University (ANU) provides a $5,000 scholarship award every year to a prospective or current student who is from Australia and has a background in playing cricket. The ANU Cricket Club Scholarship was created to attract talented cricketers, assist in developing the cricketing potential of the recipient, and give students the opportunity to play for the club.
3. The University of Wollongong Cricket Scholarship
The University of Wollongong (UOW) is a public research university in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. The institution prides itself as one of the world’s top modern universities and boasts of offering excellence in teaching, learning, and research as well as an unparalleled student experience.

So, if you play cricket or want to play cricket at ACU you can join the EAPP and apply for this scholarship and win up to $5,000 that will be applied towards your tuition and lower the cost.
Other eligibility requirements include maintaining at least a 4.0 GPA, representing ACU in national and international sports competitions, attending at least one EAPP-specific event, and meeting EAPP eligibility requirements.
5. Adelaide University Cricket Club Scholarships
Adelaide University of a public research university located in Adelaide, South Australia, and one of the nation’s oldest universities. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs that cut across many disciplines.
The sports association at Adelaide University offers a number of scholarships to student-athletes who are members of the Adelaide University Clubs. So, if you are a member of the university’s cricket club and you play in competitions, you are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. Once your application is submitted you will be eligible for a number of awards but you will only receive one.
6. Riewoldt Family AFL Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship is tenable only at Bond University and provided only to 2 athletes who must have completed high school and applying for an undergraduate program, are currently a high school senior, or are in a postgraduate program. This scholarship is for all student-athletes which means cricket players can also apply and be eligible to receive the award.
The scholarship covers the entire cost of students’ tuition and free accommodation if you decide to live on campus. To be eligible, you must meet the prerequisites and admissions requirements for your chosen degree and demonstrate outstanding and current involvement in AFL. Required documents for application include a CV of your sporting achievements, two reference letters, and evidence of leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community.
7. ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship
ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship is tenable only at Bond University. The scholarship is set up to find college education for Australian sports men and women with outstanding athletic abilities. If you play cricket and need a scholarship to fund your college education, you can also apply for this scholarship.
Application for the scholarship is open to high school students applying for an undergraduate program at Bond University, high school seniors, and postgraduate students. The scholarship covers the entire cost of your program.
