Women are rapidly closing the educational gap, and they are also doing the same in the business world today. In fact, there are more women running Fortune 500 businesses today than at any point in the 63-year history of the Fortune 500.
But there’s still a wide margin in leadership positions in the business world, only 6.4% penetration has been made, so there is still a lot more work to be done. We believe one of the best ways to boost this number is through scholarships for women in business provided by different organizations, colleges, and universities.
Just like most scholarships for women in STEM and Ph.D. scholarships for women, these awards will go as far as paying up to the full tuition of recipients, and some even pay extra stipends to help with other expenses. There are different types of awards available to help women achieve their desires in the business world, even scholarships for women who intend to return to school.
It’s worth noting that we also listed some scholarships for women interested in pursuing careers in a particular field of business, such as finance, accounting, leadership, marketing, economics, etc.
