UTS Diploma to Degree Scholarship is offered every year to diploma graduates who want to pursue a degree program at UTS. The scholarship is awarded to fifty (50) new recipients each year and will cover 25% of each recipient’s tuition fees at UTS for the duration of their program.

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be an international student. Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Australia are not eligible.
  • The international student must be a citizen of Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar [Burma], Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka or South Korea
  • Be accepted into UTS based on a UTS-recognized diploma or higher diploma qualification from any of the countries above.
  • GPA of 3.4 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent
  • Meet all admission requirements for the selected UTS undergraduate coursework program.
  • Be commencing full-time study at UTS on campus and not in an online program

You will not be eligible if:

  • You have studied in Australia before
  • Enrolled in a UTS online degree or distance mode degree program
  • A recipient of other UTS international scholarships or grants or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program for the duration of this Scholarship; and be a government-sponsored student.

You will be selected for the scholarship if you meet all of the criteria above. As a recipient, you must maintain excellent academic performance to maintain the scholarship award. If a recipient happens to withdraw from UTS before completing their undergraduate coursework, they will be mandated to refund the tuition fees paid by the scholarship.

There is no separate application for this scholarship. The admissions officials at UTS will automatically consider all commencing international students from the countries listed above applying for an undergraduate program at UTS for the scholarship.

2.     Griffith College Diploma to Degree Scholarship

Senecal Polytechnic is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and offers part-time and full-time degree, diploma, and certificate programs in an online and on-campus mode. The college offers a diploma to degree scholarship to students admitted to a Seneca degree program from a diploma.

To be eligible, you must be a graduate of a Canadian diploma program accepted to pursue a full-time undergraduate degree program at Seneca College and have not received a renewable entrance scholarship. In addition, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.3 which is equivalent to a B+ or 75%.
